As a professional guitar player of many years, I longed for a shop where I could go and spend time musing over guitar related issues with interested and knowledgeable staff - somewhere I could find good musical taste and quality products.
I wanted the feeling I was being sold something which suited me and my particular sound, rather than being sold excess stock from the store room. I wanted to feel I was the priority and not just a calculation in the profit margin. I wanted a shop that promoted good tones and great sounding gear, a shop that cared whether I was into Metal, Jazz, Country or Blues, or indeed, anything in between.
Opening our Doors
There was'nt a shop I could use in the small town of Bideford in North
Devon, and so I decided to open my own shop and provide exactly the products
and services I always looked for. So Bideford Bay Guitars was opened
on 6th June 2006. We look after our customers in the way I longed to
be treated in a guitar shop, providing the best value and the highest
quality in both equipment and service that money can buy! We are situated
on Market Square at Bideford Pannier Market and we would be pleased to
see you for a chat, a try-out and maybe a new guitar!
